SAVE THE DATE! Our next trip to provide lunch for the homeless and share worship at the Worcester Fellowship will be on Sunday, October 19th. If you’d like to go, please speak with Beth Rayner-Zyskowski. If you’d like to participate but can’t go, you can help us out by donating money or supplies for the lunch. We typically need to bring bag lunches for 80 plus people plus our own crew of volunteers. Beginning the first Sunday in September, we will be collecting new white socks to be handed out with the lunches so as you shop for back to school, please pick up a package of white men’s socks as well. If you don’t know why we donate socks, it’s because one of the things that goes along with homelessness is foot ailments. People who don’t have homes typically don’t have easy access to showers or laundry facilities, so providing these folks with a new pair of white socks is a true blessing.
